      Thousands of Birmingham elementary school children will cast their vote for the next U.S. President.

      Every Kid Votes is a nation-wide mock election program for elementary school students.{} It will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at thousands of participating schools, with a week-long absentee voting period.{} Most schools are expected to participate on Oct. 30 when real-time results will be available online at www.studiesweekly.com/vote.

      Millions of elementary school students all around the country will get to cast their 'vote' for the next U.S. president through the Every Kid Votes event.{}

      Each child receives an 'I Voted' sticker and their schools receive educational packets for additional learning.
