Birmingham man, 24, charged with capital murder in fatal Harrison Park shooting

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A Birmingham man has been arrested and charged in connection with last weekend's fatal shooting at Harrison Park, police said.

Vada Floyd, 24, is charged with capital murder for the death of 23-year-old Timothy Austin, who was shot several times in the head on March 9. Floyd will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail, where he will be held without bond.
