Birmingham man charged, accused of setting house on fire while 2 people were inside
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Birmingham man on probation for manslaughter has been accused of setting fire to a home while two people were inside. Police said 46-year-old Robert Lee Nunn was charged with first-degree arson and two counts of attempted murder. Authorities said Nunn went to a home July 25 and set fire to the back porch. No one was injured, although two people were inside. Court records show a Jefferson County judge had earlier issued a protective order barring Nunn from any contact with the victim or her children.Nunn is being held without bond in the Jefferson County jail.
