Birmingham police arrest 2 men in connection with recent urinal thefts from local restaurants

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Birmingham police have arrested two men in connection with a series of thefts involving metal urinal parts and fittings from local restaurant bathrooms.ABC 33/40 has learned that a truck matching the description of the vehicle used by the suspected thieves was spotted at a gas station at the intersection of Clairmont Avenue and 29th Street South late this morning. Officers questioned the two and later took them into custody.The suspects' names haven't been released at this time, though, Lt. Sean Edwards is expected to release a statement on the arrests shortly. We'll provide updates to this story as more information is made available.
