Birmingham Police officer arrested and charged with domestic violence

Birmingham Police say one of their own officers has been arrested and charged with domestic violence.

Police responded to a residence on Saturday night at approximately 7:00 p.m. to investigate a domestic disturbance. A female told officers she had been involved in a domestic dispute that had escalated into a physical confrontation.
