      Birmingham has been ranked among the five worst cities for "Wallet Wellness," according to the website WalletHub.

      WalletHub, which is a personal finance information provider, said "Wallet Wellness" is a term that describes the connection between physical, financial and emotional health. During the compiling of the list, the website compared 150 of the largest cities in the United States in eight key metrics designed to gauge the responsibility to which people manage both their finances and their lifestyles, as well as the extent to which local dynamics promotes wealth creation and upward mobility.
