Birmingham teen charged in Crime Stoppers murder case
A Birmingham teen has been charged in connection with a Crime Stoppers case involving the murder of a 24-year-old man in July, police said.
Marlon Arrington, 19, is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on one count of capital murder for the shooting death of Montez Leatherwood, a Birmingham man who was found shot and killed in his Cadillac Fleetwood parked outside an apartment building on 35th Street Ensley on July 18.

According to two witnesses, gunshot were heard around 2 a.m., but it was nearly two hours later before Leatherwood was discovered dead in his car.
Information regarding the motive in the killing hasn't been released.
Arrington is being held without bond.
