Bo Jackson knows the Weather Channel, and he used an appearance on the cable network to promote his Bike ride that supports tornado victims. The former baseball and football player, who was named the greatest athlete of all time by ESPN, stopped by to visit with Sam Champion to talk about Bo Bikes Bama and his mission to help fellow Alabamians recover from the tornadoes that devastated the state in 2011.
Bo Bikes Bama has become an annual tradition where Bo and dozens of others ride across the state to benefit those hit by the tornadoes. During today's show, Jackson also met with The Weather Channel meteorologist Paul Goodloe, a past participant in Bo's ride. Bo presented Paul with a jersey to wear during this year's ride.
