Body found in burned car on interstate early Sunday morning
BIRMINGHAM - AL —
One person is dead after a car fire on Interstate 59, Sunday.
It happened just before 5:00 a.m.
Midfield fire fighters found the car on I-59 South near Allison-Bonnet Memorial Drive. They were able to put out the flames, but the driver was already dead.
There were no passengers in the car. The driver has not yet been identified.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
