Brenda Ladun Conquer Cancer Run
BIRMINGHAM - AL —
The weather will be just fine to come out and enjoy the day at the conquer cancer run this Saturday at St. Vincent's One Nineteen.
We'll also have health checks, of the skin. It's the Vickie Imbusch skin cancer check center.
It's in memory of a great lady who battled the disease.
Also there will be eye checks available... for cancer, cataracts and glaucoma.
Dr. Price Kloess is an ophthamologist at St. Vincent's One Nineteen. He says, "I think a child with a cupcake in one hand and a balloon in the other is more apt to want to see me than another setting."
It's the Conquer Cancer Run this Saturday. We expect to have more than a thousand runners... so get there early!
And sign up tonight at conquercancerrun.org
Online registration ends tomorrow at 3 pm.
Packet pick-up is at St. Vincent's One Nineteen Friday.
