Brookwood crash injures four teens; alcohol may have been factor
BROOKWOOD - AL —
Police say alcohol may have been involved in a late nightcrash that injured four teenagers.
Brookwood Police responded to a one-car accident on CampCherry Austin Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. The vehicle ranoff the road and struck a tree. The Tuscaloosa County Homicide Unit wascontacted by Brookwood Police to investigate the crash since alcohol may havebeen a factor.
The 19-year-old male driver suffered a concussion and brokenbones, a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old female were treated and releasedfor minor injuries, and the fourth passenger, a 19-year-old male, is currentlyin critical condition.
