      Brothers arrested for convenience store robbery

      Jefferson County deputies responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store on New Castle Road near Morris in northern Jefferson County Thursday afternoon. A caller reported the store had been just robbed by two men. One was armed with a baseball bat and the other was armed with a machete. The men left the store in a gold pickup truck. A description of the truck was given out. Deputies were familiar with the vehicle as well as the two brothers that often drove it. Deputies went to the home of 34-year-old Brian Matthew Peters and 22-year-old Jacob Ian Peters both from Pinson.{} They were taken into custody and taken to the Jefferson County jail. Brian Peters is charged with robbery first-degree. Jacob Peters is charged with robbery first-degree and theft of property third-degree.
