Brown's Ferry Nuclear Plant cleared of safety violations

Regulators have cleared Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant of three minor safety violations.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the ruling at a public meeting Wednesday.{} The violations were related to plant worker training on shutdown procedures, and an injection system that was out of service longer than planned.

NRC regulators concluded that Tennessee Valley Authority workers understood the problems and took the appropriate actions. {}
