Business returns can now file online in Jefferson County


For the first time in Jefferson County's history, business property returns can be filed online.County tax accessor Gaynell Hendricks announced the change today. She says new computer systems made the option possible. Administrators expect the online system to reduce {}in paperwork and decrease hours of tedious work. Businesses that have accountants can now log onto the secure system and access all their clients' information from one location."It will improve our productivity and help us spend more time providing quality customer service to our business customers in Jefferson County," Hendricks says.The online submissions are up and ready to go.
