Car-sharing program, electric car stations coming to downtown Birmingham?

Electric car stations and car-sharing programs join a growing list of potential transportation options coming to downtown Birmingham.{}The BJCTA Executive Director Ann August tells ABC 33/40 she has spoken with Alabama Power officials about installing the charging stations at the city's planned, new intermodal facility. She also says she has been contacted by a company about a possible "Zip Car" service, which allows multiple drivers to share the same car and pay a fee.
