Vestavia Hills man, 63, arrested on drug, gun charges after FBI's search of home

A Vestavia Hills man is facing a handful of charges after the FBI raided his home Wednesday, police confirmed to ABC 33/40.

According to Vestavia Hills Police Lt. Brian Gilham, 63-year-old Joseph Gandy was taken into custody at his residence located{}at 2216 block of Gay Way and has since been charged with one count of trafficking OxyCodone and OxyContine, one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a short-barrel firearm.

Gandy is being held in jail on bonds totaling $1,045,000.

Along with drugs, authorities seized between 95 and 100 guns from the home.
