      Chef Scott's Braised Beef Brisket

      INGREDIENTS:

      • 5-7lb Brisket
      • 2 Medium Yellow Onions
      • 2oz Chopped Garlic
      • 2oz Fresh Rosemary
      • 2tblsp Kosher Salt
      • 1tblsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
      • 2 Cups of Beef Broth
      • 1 cup Vegetable Oil

      METHOD:

      Season brisket well with salt & pepper. In a large sautpan heat oil to medium high heat and slowly add brisket to hot oil fat sidedown first. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from saut pan & place in a deeproasting pan and add rosemary, beef broth, {}apple cider, garlic &onions. Cover with foil and cook on 350degrees for 3 1/2 hours.{}
