Chinese restaurant owner accused of firing shot at woman over egg roll appears in court
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. -- A Birmingham business owner accused of firing a gun at customer who claimed to have found a roach in her food appeared in a Jefferson County courtroom Tuesday.Chun Ching, former owner of the Good Friends Chinese and Seafood Restaurant faces an attempted murder charge for the incident last February. He has been out of jail on bond.Birmingham City leaders revoked the restaurant's business license in March. Ching and his wife, who was last to own the building, voluntarily closed the business shortly after the reported incident.
