Church celebrates 140 years

The first black Baptist church in the Birmingham, AL celebrates 140 years and today members celebrate its long history.

This is the same church where four young black girls, Carole Robertson, Denise McNair, Cynthia Wesley and Addie Mae Collins were killed and others injured during a racially motivated bombing on September 15, 1963, but over the past five decades, church members say they've seen a change.

"When you look at everything this church has gone through and what it has survived through our lord and savior guiding us, protecting us, it puts a special warmth in my heart," says Roy Davis.

Dr. Carroll Baltimore gave the sermon with the theme "The Awesome Power of Praise".
