City with Alabama's 1st YMCA may lose it

The first YMCA to ever open in the city of Selma is now in danger of closing its doors.{} The facility is trying to raise $1 million by December 31st.{} The money is part of $3 million owed from the construction of new facilities five years ago.{} Officials say the moneY is coming in, but there is a real possibility the YMCA could close if it can't raise the money by the deadline. Selma opened its first YMCA back in 1858.
