Quarterback Clint Moseley has decided to leave the Auburn football team, Justin Hokanson of AuburnSports.com reports.
Moseley, a junior from Leroy, Ala., leaves the Tigers' football program after having made nine career starts on the Plains. He made three starts in 2012 after taking over for sophomore Keihl Frazier in the second half of a loss to Arkansas.
In 2011, Moseley started the final six games of Auburn's 8-5 season, completing 66-108 passes for 800 yards and five touchdowns.
New head coach Gus Malzahn currently has just two scholarship quarterbacks on his roster following Moseley's decision to leave -- Frazier and sophomore-to-be Jonathan Wallace. The Tigers do have a commitment from Jeremy Johnson, a four-star quarterback from Carver High in Montgomery.
