Gadsden plane expected to be recovered from reservoir today

A salvage team hopes to recover the bodies of five people and the wreckage of a single-engine airplane from a southwestern Colorado reservoir on Thursday afternoon if the weather is favorable.

Officials in Colorado plan to recover the main wreckage of an Alabama Plane from a reservoir today.

The plane was carrying five people from Gadsden when it went down last Saturday. Divers have confirmed the bodies are still inside the plane. But, it's stuck in mud, under 60 feet of water.

The plane's owner, Jimmy Hill, Katrina Barksdale, and her children Kobe and Xander, along with her nephew Seth McDuffie, were on the plane.
