      Congress could be coming to your community soon

      One congresswoman will be coming to her constituents this week for their advice. Congresswoman Terri Sewell is bringing the Congress in the Community town hall tour to Alabama this week.

      The town halls will be an opportunity for people to express their thoughts and concerns. There will be nine stops within the Seventh Congressional District.

      On Monday, the congresswoman will be at Choctaw General Hospital in Butler from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. then at the Thomasville Civic Center in Thomasville from 4 - 5 p.m..

      Tuesday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., the town hall will be held at the Wilcox County Courthouse in Camden.

      The following day one will take place at the Demopolis Civic Center in Demopolis from 10 - 11 a.m. and another one at the Coleman Center in York from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. The final one Wednesday will be at the Carrollton Service Center in Carrollton from 4 - 5 p.m..

      On Thursday, Greene County Hospital in Eutaw will host the event from 10 - 11 a.m. followed by one at The Pie Lab in Greensboro from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

      There will be no events on Friday or the weekend.

      On Monday, April 1, the congresswoman will be at Selma City Hall from 11 - 12 p.m. then Perry County Commission in Marion from 2 - 3 p.m..
