Counterfeit cash becoming a concern in Clay County

Investigators in Ashland are trying to catch a counterfeiter. Four reported cases of fake $20 bills have turned in up in the community.

All of the incidents have taken place over the past two weeks. Ashland Police Chief Benny Davis says the counterfeit bills have popped up in other nearby communities as well.During the summer, phony $50 bills began circulating in the area, although no one was charged in connection with incidents.To learn how to recognize "funny money", Chief Davis recommends two websites:
