Vehicle reported stolen in Birmingham; Vehicle that towed stolen vehicle


Detectives are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with stealing a purse in the parking lot of a Gardendale WalMart.

The incident happened March 31st around 11:30 pm, and one of the suspect's picture is posted to the right of this story. The victim identified the black male as the suspect who stole her purse.

A picture of the vehicle the suspects were in is also posted to the right of this story.

Detectives hope to identify a tow truck and a driver seen towing a vehicle from an Ensley location on the 2000 block of 20th Street Ensley March 8th. Pictures of the tow truck, driver and{}vehicle are posted to the right of this story.

The{}owner of the vehicle{}reported the vehicle stolen after it was towed.

"The vehicle was just parked at this location," said Birmingham Detective Pat Green. "The owner came back the next morning and realized it was gone."

The vehicle's tag number is BC01446. The driver of the tow truck is not a suspect, but police want to question him in hopes of finding the location of the vehicle and identifying who called the{}driver's company.
