The Family Dollar in the Norwood community on the 3000 block of 12th Avenue North in Birmingham was robbed December 5 by a suspect, whose pictures are posted to the right of this story.
The suspect, wearing a hoodie and sweat pants, walked into the store pointing a gun. He threatened the employees, left with cash, and ran on foot. Police believe he could live in the area, because there no was no getaway car seen.
"Hopefully someone will take the initiative, step up to the plate, and give us a call here at Crime Stoppers so that we can help bring this case to a close," said Birmingham Detective Pat Green.
