BIRMINGHAM SHOOTING, ROBBERY:
"I don't think this was a crime of opportunity," said Birmingham Police Department Detective Pat Green.
Instead, police believe the crime was planned. It was January 14, and the victim in an armored vehicle pulled up to the Kangaroo Express on Bankhead Highway.
"Two masked gunman robbed and stole the vehicle," added Green.
They also shot the victim, ad the vehicle was later found on the 100 block of Cherry Avenue.
"We really need to get these guys off the streets as soon as possible," said Green.
If you know anything about the case, contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
