      Crime Stoppers May 28: Jefferson County armed robbery; Search for suspects in credit card cases

      JEFFERSON COUNTY ARMED ROBBERY:

      Crime Stoppers needs your help identifying two suspects, a man and a woman, wanted for an armed robbery that happened at the Fred's Super Dollar store on Deerfoot Parkway Tuesday, May 21 shortly before{}9 pm.{}

      Detectives also need a witness{}to the crime to come forward, because he could provide crucial clues in the case.{}Pictures of the{}suspect and the witness are posted to the right of this story.

      That night, the{}suspects rushed into the store and ordered a store{}employee and the witness to get on the floor and empty their pockets. Once the suspects led the manager further{}inside the store, the witness left.

      "That's when his best opportunity would have been to have seen something," said Jefferson County Sheriff Office Sgt. Brian Allison.

      The suspects held employees at gunpoint, and one pistol whipped a victim. They left with{}cash and items belonging to employees.

      SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS IN UNAUTHORIZED USE OF CREDIT CARD CASES:

      Crime Stoppers also hopes you can identify two suspects wanted for using stolen credit card information at area Walmarts May 4th. They were seen in Sumiton, Gardendale, at a location on Montclair Rd., and possibly Cullman.

      Pictures of the suspects are posted to the right of this story.

      They're accused of using the credit card information to purchase hundreds of dollars in gift cards.{}Some of the credit card information they used is linked to Ohio credit cards, but police believe the suspects are from Alabama.

      "A lot of the WalMarts they are targeting are way off the interstate and not in a remote area," said Sumiton Police Department Investigator Kris Price.
