Crime Stoppers October 30: Pickpocketing spree spans Southeast



Two suspects in a pickpocketing spree targeted a Birmingham man inside an elevator at Princeton Baptist Medical Center October 2nd. Both suspects, whose pictures are posted to the right of this story, stole the victim's credit cards and charged approximately $16,000.

The men are also wanted in New York and Virginia.

"One suspect claimed injury and fell to the floor, and as he fell to the floor, the victim reached in to help," said Birmingham Police Detective Patrick Green. "And as he reached into help, the second suspect pickpocketed him, taking his wallet and major credit cards."

Police believe one of the suspect's name is 58-year-old James Edward Jackson. He's used several names during crimes including Michael Fletcher, James E. Jackson, James Jacob Jackson, Albert Jack Stevie, Mike Fleisher, James Jackson, James Edward Jackson, Jr., and Albert Stevie.

"If we can{}locate one, I truly think we can get the other," said Detective Green.
