Police are following several leads in a Chalkville area bank robbery that occurred Thursday. The suspects, whose pictures are posted to the right of this story, also robbed the BB&T Bank on Chalkville Mountain Road June 7th.

Both times, they drove up in a black Honda Odyssey stolen in March from Atlanta. Thursday, they left the vehicle at a nearby apartment complex and drove away in a silver vehicle similar to a Ford Taurus or Dodge Challenger.

"We're going to continue to pursue this. We've got several leads," said Sgt. Brian Allison. "We just need to solidify needs."


Police need your help solving an armed robbery that occurred August 21st around 10 pm at Kings Foods on the 4300 block of Richard Arrington, Jr. in Birmingham. The suspect's picture is posted to the right of this story.

The night of the robbery, the suspect entered the store with a gun. Then, a store clerk attacks the robber with a stool. After a brief struggle, the suspect begins shooting then runs outside. He fires several more shots, and the front door shatters.

The suspect left in an unknown direction.
