Cullman company prepares for massive layoffs

As rebuilding efforts take place for one Cullman business, another one prepares for massive layoffs.{} Because of an army contract loss, AAR Summa is laying off more than 200 workers.{} Mayor Max Townson says the army did not renew the contract and opted with a Canadian company instead.{} He says he's working to strike a deal.{} Employees were notified of the job cuts Wednesday.{} Mayor Townson says layoffs are expected to begin in June.
