Cyrus Kouandjio drafted by Buffalo Bills in the second round

NEW YORK - NY — Cyrus Kouandjio is off the draft board.The Buffalo Bills selected the Alabama offensive lineman in the second round, with the 44th overall pick of the NFL draft.Kouandjio has seen his draft stock fluctuate since the NFL Draft Combine, when NFL.com reported that "several teams" failed him on his physical because of an arthritic knee, which was the result of an earlier surgery in his college career.Dr. James Andrews, who serves at Alabama's medical staff as a consultant, wrote a letter to each of the NFL's 32 teams to clear up the issue. Andrews said there were no issues following the surgery Kouandjio had in 2011 to fix his ACL.He started the final 27 games of his Alabama career.
