Daughter captures unforgettable moment with dying dad during faux wedding (video)

Despite not being engaged and her father dying from cancer, one California woman took destiny into her own hands and sculpted a memory she will never forget.

Rachel Wolfe, 25, of Auburn, Calif., held a full-blown, make-believe wedding last Saturday and while it was surely not the wedding of her dreams, the unforgettable moment she manufactured in the face of her parent's death will be one she cherishes forever.

Wolfe's goal of the faux wedding was to surprise her 58-year-old dad, Dr. James Wolfe, with the opportunity to see his daughter in a beautiful gown and the experience of a father-daughter dance before he loses his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Her plan went off without a hitch.

"It meant more to him than I ever thought it would," Wolf told ABC News. "The joy that I saw in his face when he saw me was amazing."

And the smiles, tears, hugs and embraces were all captured on video. Watch it all play out above.
