Dedication planned for fire station destroyed by tornado

Part of what the April 27th tornado destroyed{}has been rebuilt in North Smithfield.

On Saturday,{}residents and firefighters will dedicate the restored fire station on North Smithfield Drive.{} Sixteen months ago,{}the roof collapsed in the storm,{}destroying a fire truck and thousands of dollars worth of firefighting equipment.

The repairs cost almost $250,000.{} An open house is planned from 10a.m. until 4p.m.
