Derrick Henry Named Parade Player Of The Year

Crimson Tide signee Derrick Henry has been named Parade Magazine's All-America Player of the Year.

Henry, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound running back, will be on the cover of the upcoming issue of Parade magazine, which hits the news stands this weekend.

Henry broke the national high school career rushing record with 12,243 yards gained{}in his career at Yulee High School in northern Florida.{}

Henry was a January enrollee at the University of Alabama and is eligible to participate in the Crimson Tide's football spring practice.
