Drug deal leads to double murder; 14 year old charged

Police in Cobb County, GA. say they believe two men were killed in a park during a drug deal and have charged a teenager with murder.

According to police, 14-year-old, Jaydon Lee Reid shot and killed 21-year-old Sterling Hargrave and 23-year-old Terrance Banks Sunday night near the BMX track at Wild Horse Creek Park in Powder Springs. {}

According to the arrest warrant, Reid robbed Banks and Hargrave of cash and almost a half pound of marijuana during a drug deal before shooting them with a 9mm handgun.

Family members told police that one of the victims was seen withdrawing a large amount of money from an ATM right before the shooting.

Along with felony murder, aggravated assault, robbery and drug charges, Reid is also being charged with hindering law enforcement because he ran when he spotted a uniformed police officer.{}
