The first signs of autism may show up in the first month of a child's life. That's according to a study by the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta. Researchers used eye-tracking technology to study babies from birth to three years. They found that all the babies tracked their mother's eye movement. But, babies who were later diagnosed with autism followed their mom's eyes less as early as one month old.Researchers say early detection and early intervention helps children with autism do better.
