Update: Blount Co. school lifts lockdown; possible gunman arrested

School administrators at Southeastern Elementary School in Remlap have been given clearance to lift the lockdown.{} The procedure was enacted when a man pulled a gun while on the school's campus.

Assistant Superintendent of Blount County Schools, Rodney Green, says a man walked on the school grounds Wednesday around 2p.m. {}The principal approached the man and locked him outside the school. At that time, he man pulled out a gun.{} He ran into the woods.{} The gunman was caught by Blount County deputies about 30 minutes later.
