EPA meeting set for December for north Birmingham

People living in north Birmingham will have an opportunity next month to get an update on environmental cleanup efforts and testing {}in the area.Environmental Protection Agency Spokesperson James Pinkney tells ABC 33/40 representatives will release information on December 12 at 6 p.m. at Hudson K-8 School.Fairmont, Harriman Park and Collegeville neighborhoods were deemed a collective Superfund site because of environmental issues and concerns.Pinkney believes community members will also ask questions regarding contaminated soil that was found and removed from Maclin Park in Collegeville.
