Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr. to speak at Talladega College

Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr. will serve as the keynote speaker during Talladega's College Black{} History Convocation on Tuesday.

Wright's beliefs and preaching were scrutinized when segments of his sermons were publicized in connection with the campaign of President Obama. Wright became the pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago in 1972. When he became pastor there, the church had some 250 members on its roll., Now, it has a congregation of more than 6,000.{}

The service will begin at 10 a.m. in the chapel on Tuesday.
