Jenny Cumberland says, "My baby, he loved life, everybody loved Casey. Grieving words from a Jenny Cumberland, a mother who just lost her 22 year old son, Casey.
Cumberland showed pictures of her son holding his 2 year old child, and other pictures with his brother and sister.
"I just wish I can bring him back, this is so horrible, just so horrible," says Cumberland. Cumberland says she has dealt with heartache and pain in the past, just two years ago, Casey's older brother on the right committed suicide.
Cumberland says, "My god, that's the only thing that's holding us together, losing two children, I pray nobody, ever has to lose a child." She says Casey was full of life and enjoyed the simple things.
Similar words came from Billy Hickman about Josh Smith. Smith was another victim killed that night. "Josh smith is an incredible guy," says Hickman.
Hickman has known Joshua since he was 12 years old, living next door. "Hopefully, he's looking down on us from heaven," says Hickman.
The victims, Joshua Smith and Casey Cumberland went to Pelham High school together.
The third victim was 19 year old Simeon Gilmore, all three were shot and killed.
Family and friends of the victims say this crime not only affected their lives, but the lives of others.
