FEMA, SBA assistance deadlines extended

There's a new deadline for people affected by the late April to early May {}storms to apply for FEMA assistance. {}You know have until Tuesday, July 15, 2014, to apply.

Friday, Governor Robert Bentley requested and FEMA approved an extension for disaster assistance in the nine counties affected by the{}April 28 to May 5{}severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds and flooding.The counties include:

  • Baldwin
  • Blount
  • DeKalb
  • Etowah
  • Jefferson
  • Lee
  • Limestone
  • Mobile
  • Tuscaloosa
