A 28-year-old Tuscaloosa man is facing charges after police say he got into an argument with another man over a female friend.
Roderick Gholston is charged with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle in connection with an incident near 5140 36th Avenue Monday night.
According to police, Gholston allegedly fired two shots at another man following an argument over a woman. The victim told investigators his car was struck by two bullets as he attempted to drive away from the scene, where the suspect later returned, surrendering to police.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Gholston was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he is being held on bonds totaling $105,000.
