Fight over parking leads to an arrest
TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL — A 74-year-old Tuscaloosa man is facing attempted murder charges. Police were called to the 4100 block of 19th Place Sunday afternoon. Officers on the scene were able to apprehend Livingston Wells and a weapon.Witnesses on the scene told police Wells shot the victim, a 25-year-old man as he approached his truck. It appears the two were in a dispute over how the victim was parking his truck. As the victim ran, the suspect continued firing at the victim and then pointed the gun at the victim's girlfriend, a 26-year-old female. Based on witness statements and evidence at the scene, Wells was charged with two counts of attempted murder. He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County jail pending a $90,000 bond.
