Former Alabama lineman Caleb Gulledge transfers to JSU
Former Alabama offensive lineman Caleb Gulledge will transfer to Jacksonville State.
He will be eligible to play this season.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban said Gulledge was medically disqualified at the end of spring practice due to a "chronic medical issue".
Gulledge was a three-star recruit out of Prattville High School in 2012. The 6-foot-4, 280 pound lineman redshirted last season.
Gulledge is the fifth FBS transfer to join Jacksonville State this year. Quarterback Max Shortell (Minnesota), linebackers Harris Gaston and Chris Landrum (Auburn) and offensive lineman Michael Flint (Arkansas State) joined JSU over the summer.
