Devonta Pollard is set to return to the basketball court for East Mississippi Community College.
The EMCC athletic department posted a picture of Pollard on its official twitter account Monday. It remains to be seen if he will be allowed to play while dealing with criminal charges for his involvement in a kidnapping during the offseason.
Pollard played at Alabama last season, but left the Tide after he was accused of helping his mother and others scheme to kidnap a 6-year-old girl from an east Mississippi elementary school.
Pollard's mother, Jesse Mae Brown Pollard, pleaded not guilt to federal charges of leading the kidnapping attempt. Her son will be tried as an accomplice and will face up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
