Former Tide golfer Bobby Wyatt to make PGA Tour debut in the Travelers Championship

TUSCALOOSA - AL — Bobby Wyatt is ready to be a pro.The former Alabama golfer, who helped the Tide to back-to-back national championships, will make his PGA Tour debut later this month at the Traveler's Championship in Hartford, Conn."It's been a dream of mine--a childhood dream of mine--to play in a PGA Tour event and play professional golf," Wyatt told AL.com. "It's really exciting to me to know it's going to come true."Wyatt will play in the Traveler's Championship on a sponsor's exemption. He says his plan is to play PGA events that don't require the qualifying process this season. If Wyatt can win a tournament or finish in the top 125 of the FedEx Cup standings, he will earn his PGA Tour membership.The Travelers Championship begins June 19.
