Fumes from meth lab sends Pelham police officers to hospital
PELHAM - AL —
Pelham police officers were at Oak Mountain Lodge Monday on a juvenile pickup order when they came in contact with what investigators describe as a methamphetamine lab. The four officers made contact with fumes and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
Initially, three officers were taken to Brookwood Medical Center for treatment but were released. The fourth officer was taken to the ER for treatment later in the evening and has since been released.Shelby County Task Force was notified and they are picking up the investigation.
Police arrested four individuals. They were taken to the Shelby County jail.
