Funeral held for Georgia toddler in Tuscaloosa
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Family and friends have held a funeral for the Georgia toddler who died in a hot SUV as his father remains in jail on murder and child cruelty charges. The ceremony for Cooper Harris was held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday. Justin Ross Harris called the ceremony from the Cobb County Jail in Marietta, Georgia, where he is being held without bond. Using a speaker phone, Harris emotionally thanked people for their support since the 22-month-old's death on June 18.
