      Furry Pet Friends in Oklahoma Drive

      Hueytown, AL - Volunteers in Hueytown came together on Saturday to help the many pets in Oklahoma that were displaced by the recent devastating tornadoes.

      The "Furry Pet Friends in Oklahoma" drive was held Saturday morning in the Hueytown Winn-Dixie parking lot. Volunteers donated pet supplies such as wet and dry pet food, treats, flea and tick medication, and blankets to help the animals that are in need. The items were loaded into a semi-truck that is scheduled to depart for Oklahoma at 5:00 PM Saturday.
